Odd "Tank Man" Picture at Guangzhou Art Exhibit

An odd picture depicting the 1989 Tiananmen massacre is a part of a recent art exhibition at Guangzhou in China, where any signs of that event is still a taboo subject.

The picture shows two versions of the famous "man vs. tank" scene. One was the original and the other "doctored" to show huge crowd on both sides of the street. The caption under the picture reads partially as "Top: Original image of Beijing event. Bottom: Doctored image of Beijing event. (Courtesy of University of California - Irvine)."

The piece is credited to an artist by the name of Zhang Dali (张大力), who is reported commenting it as "I try to make those who had disappeared into darkness come back alive again and return to where they were before."
